The causes of the prevalence of reproductive disorders are largely related to the modern way of life. The existence of man in the modern conditions of anthropogenic civilization, the disruption of the relations between man and nature that develop over the centuries inevitably lead to the constant emergence of stressful situations, the accumulation of which contributes to the development of pathological changes in various organs and systems. Negative influence of environmental factors, excessive physical stress, stress, fatigue are accompanied by an increase in the formation of free radicals, sperm damage, hormone deficiency, decreased fertility and infertility. All of these factors (obesity, smoking and alcohol abuse, changing the normal levels of luteinizing hormone, follicle-stimulating hormone, thyroid stimulating hormone, sex steroid binding globulin, prolactin, testosterone, vitamin D) can lead to oxidative stress and endothelial dysfunction. Meanwhile, oxidative stress, together with high temperatures, radiation irradiation, is one of the factors deteriorating the properties fertile ejaculate. Thus, oxidative stress can be considered as one of the causes of infertility. Oxidative stress is an excess of free radicals with subsequent damage to the neuronal membrane structures, DNA and, consequently, damage to the structures and functions of nerve cells.
