Sperm Donor Basic Requirements
- -Must be at least 5'8" or taller
- -Between 19-38 years old
- -Attending a 4-year University or holding a Bachelor's or Advanced Degree
- -Must be in great physical and mental health
- -Legally allowed to work in the US (if using a US sperm donor program)
These basic requirements are only the first step in the process. If a sperm donor applicant meets these requirements they may be asked to endure an intense screening process which ultimately qualifies men to be in sperm donor programs. The qualification process is extensive; potential donors should expect to submit to physical examinations that include screening for infectious disease, genetic screening, examination of family history, and further evaluations.
