I am a brand new member and wanted to introduce my husband and I.My name is Natalia and I am 30 years old.From 3 years old I knew that I wanted a big family.I am the eldest and my mum is a teacher so I grew up surrounded by kids and could not wait to have my own.At the age of 16 my dreams were crushed.After months of medical investigations and hospitals I was told that I had Mayer Rokitansky Kunster Hauser syndrome which meant that I could never get pregnant or carry a child - I did not have a womb - and that meant that I could never have the family I have so much dreamt of.
Three years ago I met my husband, who was just everything I had been looking for.He is my soul mate who finishes my sentences.When we met I told him about my condition and we decided that we would do whatever it takes to have a family.He wanted children also and so we knew that we would be looking at surrogacy as our first choice and adoption as second choice.A year ago my husband was diagnosed with cancer and all our plans were put on hold.Now, a year later, and after surgery and chemotherapy, he is clear and we have been given another chance at being together.
I have completed my IVF and we have a frozen embryo.Just one unfortunately but it is still one chance and one hope.Now comes the difficult part of finding a surrogate.Frankly, we don't know where to start...
We are based in the UK, near Shipston-on-Stour but are happy to travel.We would love to meet and chat with those of you who have done this before and who would be interested in helping us.I am a lawyer and my husband is a photographer.We would love to hear from you in the hope that we can may be one day experience the joys of becoming a parent.
