Growing up, I always envisioned myself married and having a family of my own. When I got married to my wonderful husband in 2012, I thought my dreams would come true. However, 3 months after we got married, I was diagnosed with Uterine Cancer, and after a year of hormonal treatments, we were unsuccessful at trying to keep the cancer away in order to have a family of our own. Prior to surgery, we were fortunate to have 13 embryos created, and are currently waiting for us to "come get them". We have now been married almost 5 yrs, and feel it is time to start a family of our own. While we do want to adopt, we would like to have at least 1 biological child of our own.
