Why I'm considering surrogacy

I have a beautiful son and another baby on the way. Unfortunately, this pregnancy I learned I suffer from a pregnancy related illness called Hyperemesis Gravidarum (Hg). With this pregnancy it is such a severe case I very nearly died. Once you have HG, you are 99.9% likely to have it for every following pregnancy, and it almost always gets worse for each pregnancy. Due to this strain on my health, my Dr's, husband, and I have decided I cannot ever get pregnant again. I desperately want more children, we are looking at adoption, but I feel as though I'm not done with my own biological children yet. I know surrogacy is expensive, so at this point we are in research mode. Looking at costs, and trying to see if there are any financial options to help us make this become a reality.
