When to use PGD and when to use PGS?

PGD In general, when both sperm and egg donors are tested positive for a certain genetic disease, PGD is recommended to screen genetic abnormality.  PGD is a lot more comprehensive than PGS in terms of genetic testing. PGS When sperm and egg donor do not have any positive genetic test results on the same disease, PGS, a simpler test can be used to detect some birth defects like down syndrome.
