CFC’s CEO Leia Picard, and Intake Worker Angie Campeau hit the road, travelling to both Edmonton, and Calgary, Alberta this past weekend.Angie, and Leia both have new babies, and so as part of living out our company culture, Families first! babies came with them, and kept them company during any and all down time that they had.

“What a whirlwind of a trip that we just had”
During our Alberta trip we were able to visit past, present and hopeful Intended parents, current, and hopeful surrogates too.We jam packed so much fun into two days.It was a blast!
I can’t gloat enough about how awesome, caring and amazing our CFC surrogates are.Can I chant?! “Their number one…Their number one!!!” But seriously, the weekend was filled with smiles, hugs, laughter and sisterhood.
The restaurants took great care of us, at our two main events- A Surrogate dinner in Edmonton, and one on Calgary.The food was amazing, and great wine was enjoyed-by the non-pregnant of course.Mocktails were in no short order either, for those of our pregnant surrosisters! We connected on such a great level and really got a feel for what Alberta has to offer to us as a growing company.Watch out Alberta- because we are officially in love and we are taking over! I think in the next few months we are going to see such a boom of surrogates and intended parents from out West, and we are ready and excited!!
We miss you all already and hope to be packing our bags again this fall to come and spend a weekend away with you, but retreat style next time!
