Hi everyone. We've gone from a five-year journey of disappointments trying to become parents - clinics that refused to work with us, a bad agency. unsuccessful IVF attempts - now to our three-year-old son who is the absolute joy of our lives. The long journey tested our resolve in every way but , in the end, it was so worth every hardship to give and receive so much love.
Our message to other IPs: when it doesn't work, switch it up and keep redirecting yourself towards positive everything; and be completely engaged and informed throughout the process.
Our message to surrogates: you are amazing, amazing people.
Parenthood has turned out to be the most profound happiness we could have imagined. So much so, that we're searching for a surrogate to help us grow our family again. Our son has asked for a little brother, a sister and a kitty cat! Well, one step at a time.
Best of luck to everyone.
