Well, I am not sure if people thought previously about this aspect, but I am thinking right now.
Since I will be pregnant with someone else's baby and deliver the infant, my body will start to create milk.
I consider that natural milk from mom (even though she's a surrogate) is the best milk the infant can get, and I am willing to feed the baby for as long as it's needed, to make sure she/he will be healthy. If for parents this might be a sensitive issue, I am willing to milk myself and deliver the fresh milk in the baby bottle, to avoid any fears that I might make a strong bond with the baby.
So, don't worry, I am only generous here, since I am considering the best interest of both: parents' worries and the baby's good condition.
Feel free to tell me your opinion anytime!
Thank you for dropping by my blog! :)
Sincerely,
Elena
I too was a surrogate I pumped for my babes for 11 months.I produced so much *** ounces a day) that I donated to 8 babies on eats on feets.I did this for 26 months.Loved every minute of it and was so sad to wean hubby was over the pump :)
yes it does, thank you! well, I just heard a rumour that the best way to feed the baby with maternal milk is directly from the source.I need to make a research now and see the implications.
Here in the U.S.many surrogacy contracts expressly address the pumping of breast milk after delivery.Often if its written into the contract as compensated accordingly, others it is a personal agreement between the intended parents and the surrogate. Most common the gestational surrogate will pump rather than actually nurse the child although it does happen.Best luck, hope that helps.
