As you know, I am not technically a surrogate mother right now, but I am open to becoming one for a couple in need.Part of this journey has started with becoming a healthy eater...I have struggled with my weight (Never been over *** or anything) and positive body image. But, my fiance has quite unhealthy eating habits that he kind of sucked me into! So I started gaining, then got pregnant, dropped the pounds, then gained again..It's been a struggle! This time I started by putting BOTH of us on a health kick..He needs to eat healthy more than I do (family health issues). So to have a great surrogacy journey, I feel that I should be a healthy eater.Granted, I do love my fruits and veggies but it was so much easier to eat a piece of cake! By simply removing ANY type of unhealthy food in the house, I left myself no other options.
I have to say it has been GREAT! I have only broke down once and that was last night.I ate mashed potatoes. Now I LOVE potatoes, but since they are soooo unhealthy for you, I tend to avoid them.Luckily this was my first step off healthy eating since I started two weeks ago. That is a record for me! I have no self control or discipline.I eat what I want.I tried doing just an exercise routine instead of eating better, but that does not help me.If I exercise, I gain. How is that possible? I have NO idea but the only way for me to retain a healthy look is to eat healthy.
