My husband and I live in San Francisco Bay Area. We've been married for 9 years, but no kids yet.Our IVF clinic is here too.
We just did an IVF cycle, and got 5 beautiful day 5 frozen embryos ready to be transferred to our surrogate mother. So excited!!! Our dream finally can become true!!! We'll keep praying.
We prefer our surrogate mother:
- Live close to San Francisco Bay Area, CA.We are using Stanford Hospital in Palo Alto, CA.It is one of the best hospital in the country.
- or live in other surrogacy friendly state.(Can do all the monitoring tests at your local IVF clinic, and then total two trips to my Stanford Hospital: 1 for initial office visit and 1 for transfer).
- Health insurance without surrogacy exclusion preferred. If you have no surrogacy insurance, we can buy it for you once open enrollment period is open this year.
- Transfer 2 embryos preferred. But my doctor's advice is "At your age, I would recommend 1 at a time".So we are ok with single embryo transfer. The only concern my husband and I have is that if the implantation fails, you have to wait another 2 months for second transfer.
- Do termination on down syndrome and other severe abnormalities preferred. But my doctor says the risk of finding down's syndrome at amniocentesis at 16 weeks would be about 1 in *** other chromosomal abnormalities miscarry in the first semester. So My husband and I think that probably it's ok if you do not want to terminate on down syndrome because the chance is very low..
- no more 2 c sections.
- open, honest, and responsible person.
- No drugs, no smoking, no alcohol. No any criminal history.
Hope to hear from you soon.
Thank you for taking your time to inquire.
