Ok so I'm totally new to this so if I'm doing this wrong I will gladly take any constructive criticism. And help steering me in the right direction. I'm here as a mother of 6 . I have 5 boys and 1 girl. I am interested in helping someone have a baby , and enjoying the gift of life. I am 41 years old but in great shape . My hormone levels are great . I filled out an application online to become a surrogate and it said I was to old by a year. Which I think is so sad. I have had the opportunity to be around kids all my life. I have been raising kids since before I was even really old enough to . I would babysit in secret without my mom knowing , because this woman knew me and that I was mature enough to do it. But boy when my mom found out , she wasnt happy with me or the lady I was sitting for. I was only around 11 years old sitting 2 young ones. Then my brother and his wife had their 2 kids again I always had them . Especially my niece. She was like my own. I was older of course but still not old enough to have a child. Then at 18 I had my oldest son , who will be 24 this month. He was such a joy and so smart. 6 years later I had my second son. Another joy my athlete that will be 18 next month . And my 3rd son 16 years old and so on . My youngest is 12 . I also had 2 step boys that was the same ages as 2 of my boys . I at one time had 4 in diapers. It was like having 2 sets of twins. A set of 2 year olds and a set of 1 year olds. People would tell me all the time Amy I don't know how you do it. I say well I love them all very much, so I just do it. I dont even think about it. It was a struggle. I was a stay at home mom with all the kids doing it alone. While dad worked , alot ! But kids are a joy . And everyone that wants that joy should be able to. As I said it was rough along the way. 12 and a half years later I'm a single mother. But I wouldn't change a thing . I still see my step boys . My niece and nephew are grown with kids of their own. So I'm here just to say yes I am 41 years old . My picture maybe a year and a half ago but I still look the same . My hair is still red only it's not so bright. It's a darker red. No one believes me when they ask my age and I tell them I'm 41 and they freak out when they find out I have 6 children. The biggest and most popular that I hear, wait , you gave birth to 6 kids ? I laugh and I'm like yes . All 6 !! So I just wanted to say yes I am 41 but I do take care of myself and my hormone levels are great . I'm just saying I am an option and I'd love to help someone's dreams come true of becoming whether it be a mother, a father, parents, two Mother's, or two Father's whatever the case may be. I would just love to be the one helping someone become a parent/parents .. Hope everyone has a great day .. Amy M.
