Why I want to be an egg donor:
My brother is soon to be applying for a donor and has noticed a significant lack in women of colour, especially indigenous and black women of colour. I personally advocate for equal representation and adoption. However I respect parents choices to chose to genetically give birth as well.
Description of myself:
I would say an introvert with extrovert qualities. I can hold a conversation and be enthusiastic and warm and approachable. But I also enjoy my down time. I am very active, I skate and snowboard, run, hike, boulder. I recently got into sewing and making my own clothes, I currently go to school full time and i work part/ full time with horses. Most of my free time is divided into school work, and my dog.
My letter to intended parents:
I would ask about their family values, how they would raise their child, what beliefs they would Instil in their child. How they would respond if their child wanted to know their donor. What I formation that would give out to their child and family. I'd love to get to know the recipients on a personal level.
