Why I want to be an egg donor:

A lot of people believe that donors are donating solely for monetary reasons, I'm applying to be an egg donor because I understand what it means to have and to want a family. Although the compensation is most assuredly a benefit for the time and effort, I truly just want to help those who are unable to do so themselves. It's the ultimate act of service for potential parent(s) who are unable to conceive, and in a sense, I'm helping them complete a very, if not the most difficult puzzle. If you know me, I love puzzles. It gives me great joy to give apart of myself (figuratively and literally) to those in need if it means helping them achieve that final step in creating the family they've always wanted.

Description of myself:

I'm never quite good at this because I believe the best way to get to know someone is to talk to them yourself. However, if I had to put myself into words, I would say I'm an all-around individual. I'm a hard worker and a go-getter but I also know how to take a moment or two and breathe. I love helping people, but I have no problems asking for help when needed. Learning is something I genuinely enjoy, whether it's a new skill, a random fact, a song, about people or animals, the earth, etc.; I enjoy it all. In the words of Sir Francis Bacon, "Knowledge is power". Speaking of, I love to bake, it's been a passion of mines for as long as I can remember. Although it's not what I would like to pursue as a career, it's my personal escape and my number one hobby. Nothing brings me more pleasure than watching someone genuinely enjoy what I've created with my own two hands. I'm also a huge nerd in almost every sense of the word. I love watching documentaries, cartoons/anime, games, shows/movies. Solving puzzles is a favorite of mines, from word and number puzzles to cryptic and logical ones. If there's one thing about me, that anyone who knows me knows, it's that I'm a family person. I love my family and I love the idea of family. Family doesn't only have to be blood. It's the people who are important to you, there for you and you for them, people you love, trust, and can rely on. Everyone needs one, whether it's one person or one hundred. In fact, I intend on both adopting and conceiving myself. I think I'll stop here because like I said, the best way to know someone is to talk to them yourself. Of course, if you would like to know more about me, please, feel free to send a message and I shall respond.

My letter to intended parents:

Hi potential parent, You have been through some difficult times and hardships, but I hope that will all soon be over and worth it. This is a huge step in your life to something you've been wanting, something that'll change your life for the absolute better, and I would love to help you achieve that. Even if I'm not your choice, I hope that whoever you choose is more than happy and able to give to you the ultimate joy your searching for. ~your potential donor :)
