Hi, my husband and i are looking for a surrogate mother. I have had ivf with donor eggs and got pregnant with triplets but lost them all at 9 weeks. Our second ivf was unsuccesful. I have had 6 children in my previous marriage and 5 of those were premature by 6 to 12 weeks and of those 4 were c section. I am now 47 and my husband is 53, so surrogacy would not support us in the uk even though we are financially comfortable. We were thinking of trying one more round of ivf before i am too old but we cant cope with the heartache. I have discovered that i have a blood clotting disorder so it is highly unlikely that i would carry a baby into the first 3 months. My children are 25, 24, 22, 20, 17 and 11. . My husband and i would have loved to raise a child between us even though the eggs could not be mine, we are fine with that.
