Explain your reasons for wanting a surrogate/donor:

I have always wanted a big family with lots of kids. Unfortunately, that choice was abruptly taken away from my boyfriend and I two years ago when I had to have an emergency hysterectomy. I have been pregnant once before and gave birth to a son. It was during that delivery that everything went wrong. During my c-section I started bleeding and the doctors couldn’t stop it. I lost 6 units of blood, needing a blood transfusion and have the hysterectomy. The doctors only had a few cases ever at this hospital. I was is ICU for 4 days and another in labor and delivery. It has been two years and every day I deal with my experience, not only the emotional damage but the physical as well. I look at the long scar, stretch marks and stretched skin everyday as a reminder. A reminder of my near death experience. A reminder that I can never bare anymore children. A reminder that I survived. A reminder that I have one perfect angel. But I have this longing feeling that my family is not complete. This is why we are turning to surrogacy. We would love to find a special person who can help us complete our family. We would like to be involved in the pregnancy as much as possible and be a support for our surrogate.

We would describe ourselves as a very loving and silly couple. We are very family oriented. I am a teacher and Daryl is a transport driver for a car company. We have been together for four years and our dream is to extend our family.
