Explain your reasons for wanting a surrogate/donor:
I was diagnosed with cancer just as we were about to start our family. This was devastation on top of devastation. We have taken the time to recover physically and emotionally from this experience and now look forward to starting and completing our family. Through our experience, our eyes were opened to the kindness of humanity. Now we are looking forward to meeting the right person to help us fulfill our lifelong dream. We hope in the process, we will also be a blessing to you and your family.
How would you best describe yourself(s):
We are healthcare workers in our 30's located in Canada. We have been married for 7 years. We love our work and it is our joy and privilege to help other families every day. We are generally introverts who spend most of our time with our family and friends. Family means everything to us and we are excited to start our own family - something we have both dreamt of before we met each other. We are honest, open, approachable and love meeting new people. To us, everyone has a story and we believe everything is meant to be at the right time.

Dear Surrogate, Where do we even begin? The journey that has led us here has been emotional. We never thought at our age, we would be able to say that we stared down death in the face and have won. But we have. And in the process, we reflected on the values and priorities that make life worth living each day. To us, having a family and being able to share our experience and blessings with the next generation would mean so much to us. And growing our family, means including you as part of it now and into the future! We want you to know that we will be fully committed to supporting you, however that may look. We hope you will find us approachable and easy going so we can help create the beautiful experience that surrogacy should be. Every time we see our child, we will say a prayer of thanks to you for bringing this life into the world. There will never be enough words to show you how appreciative we are of your sacrifices. We hope we will be the parents that make you feel proud to be able to look back and say, "I had a part of creating this story." This is our promise to you.
