Explain your reasons for wanting a surrogate/donor:

I was diagnosed with a neuromuscular disease in *** and have been losing strength over the past few years.My Dr.advised me that pregnancy could speed up the progression of the disease but I decided we wanted a child so bad I was willing to take the risk.I gave birth to an amazing baby boy a year ago and unfortunately my Dr.was right, I suffered a great deal of loss in my strength and if I were to get pregnant again I'm afraid it would force me into a wheelchair.For these reasons we are looking for a woman that would give us the amazing gift of life and help our family grow.We would like a gestational surrogate and preferably someone that has had a child before.

My husband and I are very caring, generous, and loving people.We both work in healthcare helping others, my husband is a cardiologist and I am an adult nurse practitioner.We got married in *** and shortly after I was diagnosed with muscular dystrophy.We were in shock and have suffered to cope with this disease and will continue to do so until a treatment or cure is found.Though I am affected by the condition I realized I still can lead a "normal" life, we just may need to make some adjustments as the disease progresses.We have a different outlook on life now and realize just how precious it is.Brining a child into the world is one of the most amazing miracles life can bring.We were lucky enough to have a beautiful, happy, healthy baby boy last year and would love to have a little brother or sister for him to play with.Unfortunately, my body is not strong enough to carry another child and therefore, we are hoping to find a wonderful woman to help make our dream come true by serving as a surrogate mother for our baby, we will be forever grateful!!
