We did things the old-fashioned way, got engaged, got married and then started trying for a baby. We got super lucky we thought when I fell pregnant after 2 months of trying but unfortunately suffered a miscarriage soon after that. That was 3 years ago and we've been "trying" ever since. I blamed myself throughout the journey because I was very overweight but in the last year I've lost almost 10 stone to get myself healthier and I'm feeling better than ever. Our luck still hasn't come in though and we're still waiting for our little miracle. We are exploring all our options of how to make our dream come true and we're hoping that perhaps surrogacy may be an option we can consider if someone will consider us a good match on their journey of giving a couple like us a chance at parenthood.
My husband and I met through online dating in *** and consider ourselves one of the luckiest couples we know.Had we not met that way our paths may never have crossed and we wouldn't be blessed with the love that we are lucky to share. We are both professionals and we work hard to enjoy life the way we like to.We travel between London and Croatia because that's where my husband is from and we enjoy the variety that gives us.We are super fortunate in so many ways but both feel a huge missing link in our lives and that's joy and love of being a mummy and a daddy. We have so much love to give and dream of having our little family of our own.
For now, I think I've shared our journey and a picture of who we are.I would like to keep the letter to a potential surrogate personal.If/when we are able to take this discussion forward then this would be a deeply personal journey to share with an amazing woman and a letter to her should be crafter personally too in my opinion.
