Explain your reasons for wanting a surrogate/donor:
Let me start by staying that I love children and always planned on being a parent. I am a partnered gay man that has been in a committed relationship for the past 18 years. We have an 19 y/o son which we adopted at age 5 who still lives at home. We also have twin 16 month old boys from a surrogacy arrangement in India. The plan was for me to return to India for another child but the laws have since changed and it is no longer an option. I am been doing some research based on both cost of egg donor and IVF procedures plus exploring state and country laws to see where surrogacy is legal. I am also considering traditional surrogacy if it is a surrogacy friendly state. Legally I feel more comfortable with an egg donor, ivf created embryos and a gestational surrogate carrying the baby, but logistically it gets a little complicated and costly. Any thoughts?
