Explain your reasons for wanting a surrogate/donor:

We would love to have a child together but have been told that it is unlikely that I will be able to conceive due to age and length of time my tubes were left clamped. I have had tests etc and the doctors agreed it may be costly and produce no results let alone my age. I know women have had children at later ages I just fear the risk and complications at this stage as well as a condition called Chiari Malformation. My condition does not affect my living nor my future but a pregnancy at least at this stage in life could cause complications.

How would you best describe yourself(s):

I am a mother of 3 grown children who live in the US (1-married, 1-attending school and 1-working on a career). I am 46 and I had previously had my tubes closed during a very difficult marriage which ended. I am very very happily married to a US Marine. We will relocate to Kentucky where we already own a mini farm. I majored in accounting and currently work in banking. We are both healthy, grown our own produce (that we can) buy organic and from farmers markets. We do not eat prepackaged foods. We are very outdoorsy and enjoy any amount of time we can outside. Having raised 3 children I am very well versed in motherhood and look forward to the opportunity to raise a child that is My husbands and Mine. The chance to love again. We both come from large families and both of our set of parents have been married more than 50years each and our families include many, many, many grand and great grandchildren (so LOTS of cousins). We were each raised in a very loving stable environment.
