All I've ever wanted, apart from my dream job and husband (which I have), is to be a dad. As a gay man there is an obvious barrier and I'd love to be able to break that barrier down and achieve my dream of having a family.

Tall, dark, and handsome. Haha joke.I like a laugh, interested in people (I'm a social worker), I have a strong ethic of fairness and equality and always want people to reach their potential.I'm a positive kind of person, who tries to see the best of every situation.

Hello, Firstly, thank you for reading this.We'd love you to get to know us and then hopefully help us to create a family. I want our relationship to start with honesty and be based on trust therefore it is only right I tell you I am HIV positive.I was diagnosed in October *** and I'm on medication.I've responded well to medication and currently I am undetectable, which means there is a negligible chance of catching HIV from me.I would prefer to be the biological father, and my HIV clinic is willing to support myself and the intended surrogate through the pregnancy.Studies show there has never been a case where the woman or baby has caught HIV from a positive male especially when healthy and undetectable. As you can see this is another barrier into us becoming a family, partly through fear, which I totally understand, but also through people not being educated enough.Please feel free to ask me any questions and I can answer them. Of course, I understand if you have reservations about using me as the biological father, if you weren't able to do so my partner who is negative would be the biological father.I just thought it is better to be honest and the decision lies with you, and I will support any decision you make.
