Explain your reasons for wanting a surrogate/donor:

Dear Gestational Carrier, We don't know you yet but if you are wanting to be a surrogate then I know you are a thoughtful and selfless and person. The most selfless act a woman can do for another woman and her family would be to bring someone's child into this life for them. We would be forever thankful to have someone do this for us. Unfortunately, our journey to have a child has been a long, painful, disappointing road. We have been trying to have a family since we got married and have been through several rounds of IVF, with one miscarriage.  After our last IVF cycle, we came to the difficult decision of moving forward with donor eggs.  We were convinced that we could finally become pregnant in this way; however, after three embryo transfers, we continued to be unsuccessful.  We have frozen embryos and just need to find the perfect temporary home for one of them. Please consider us!

We are a couple living in Washington State who have recently begun our surrogate journey due to several years of unsuccessful fertility treatments.

Use this space to communicate a letter to potential Surrogates/Donors:

We are looking for a gestational carrier who is a kind and warm person – easy going and down to earth. We live in Washington State and would prefer someone in Washington (Montana, Wyoming, Orgegon, Idaho) areas, whom we can meet and help as needed. However, we would be open to someone a few hours away if they were willing to travel to the area for the embryo transfer. We currently have frozen embryos with a fertility center in San Diego. We hope to connect with someone who enjoys being pregnant and is motivated by the idea of bringing a child into this world for a loving and deserving couple. We are only looking for a gestational carrier as we still have two frozen embryos. We are not strict on finding someone who is an exact age or from a specific social background, etc., but rather someone who is healthy, friendly, and drug- and alcohol-free. We are NOT interested in working with an agency. Per our fertility clinic, any potential carrier would have to pass a psychological screening, and physical.
