Explain your reasons for wanting a surrogate/donor:
In *** I was diagnosed with cervical cancer. This came as a HUGE blow - my (then fiance) and I had just gotten engaged a few months prior. My journey started with an abnormal annual OBGyn exam - and quickly turned into multiple surgical procedures trying to preserve my ability to have children. Ultimately, we made the difficult decision to have a partial hysterectomy (which means they removed my uterus - but left my ovaries). While it was a hard decision, it was the only decision that would give us peace of mind. We were relieved to find out that all of the cancer was confined to my cervix and uterus and I was given a clean bill of health without the need for chemotherapy or radiation! I have been healthy ever since and my doctors tell me there is no chance for recurrence. Thank goodness! Since my ovaries were left in tact, I was able to go through the egg harvesting process to create embryos that would truly be a child of both Ryan and I. After two rounds of egg harvesting and countless shots - we now have 10 healthy blastocyst embryos frozen and ready to make our family!

My husband Ryan and I have been together for 4 years - married for 6 months! We are both professionals in our mid-thirties and anxious to start a family!! We own a home in Upper Arlington, Ohio (a suburb of Columbus) that we share with our only child - a goldendoodle named Lucy! (You can see her in some of our pictures) . We are active, happy people that are looking for a wonderful surrogate to help us create our family.
