Explain your reasons for wanting a surrogate/donor:

My reason for wanting a surrogate is that I am ready to devote my life to raising a child.

I have traveled in three different continents, obtained a master’s degree, and helped many students develop and grow through my work. This experience has given me a lot of knowledge about culture, understanding, and life. I am ready to help a child develop and grow to have experiences of their own with a support system to be there for them throughout their life.

How would you best describe yourself(s):

I am a caring, nurturing queer man who is looking to raise a child. The living philosophies that guide and shape my life are deeply rooted in environmentalism, study, humor, and a love for the unexplainable beauty of the human experience.

I have worked with children as young as 2 and adults in their 80's. I bring compassion to my work and life. I have taught elementary school and college courses, been an LGBTQIA Services director, and currently work in the area of academic and Disability Services in higher education. These experiences have given me much knowledge and compassion for being a parent and raising a child.

Dear Potential Surrogate,

Thank you for reading my profile and learning more about me. I have wanted a child for many years and feel that it is time for that journey to take the next stages towards my raising a child.

I direct an academic support and disability services center in higher education, have a supportive community of family and friends, and intentionally live in the Twin Cities after having lived in many states and growing up in New England. I find the mix of culture, environment and beauty here to be a great place to live and raise a child.

As an intended parent, I have worked hard to build experiences that will help me to nourish and educate a well-rounded, healthy and multiculturally aware child. I have been through my own struggles and triumphs that make me stronger and more able to be a patient, respectful and caring parent. I am someone who will ask questions and look for resources when they are needed.
