Explain your reasons for wanting a surrogate/donor:
Despite several attempts with perfect embryos, they just will not implant in my uterus. Our doctors suspect that my immune system is killing the embryos as it recognizes them as being foreign to my body. We have tried prednisone to combat this but nothing has worked. We now have four lovely embryos left at Repromed in Toronto. We are searching for a surrogate who will help us build our family. We would prefer a surrogate who is open to our friendship and has finished having her own children.
How would you best describe yourself(s):
We are a fun-loving couple with an amazing four-year old daughter. We live in Calgary and are both professionals- but with family always as our priority. Having both come from families of 6, we imagined ourselves with a house full of kids, laughter and chaos...car pools, slumber parties, sports equipment and family vacations. We adore our daughter and want to grow our family more than anything. We have suffered through 8 failed IVF cycles and a recent miscarriage. This experience has been extremely difficult and frustrating- but has brought us closer together as a couple and even more appreciative of our little girl.
