Explain your reasons for wanting a surrogate/donor:

We are both divorced. Jeannette's marriage was a lot more successful in creating a family; her daughter is college age and we couldn't be prouder. The most important reason for JC's divorce was associated with a long school/career/ settling down process that kept putting the start of a family off until it ended up creating opposing differences between him and his wife. By the time JC and Jeannette finally met and decided to pursue the idea of having a baby some biological difficulties were diagnosed for both of them. Despite it all they ended up pregnant once but unfortunately not only did they loose that baby but their doctor suggested giving up on the idea of having their own. We have been on a very discouraging waiting list of an adoption agency for about three years now. Before we give up on the whole idea of having an addition to our family we are turning to surrogacy as it may be our only and last option.

How would you best describe yourself(s):

Jeannette by JC- She has the kind of personality that draws kids toward her; they just like her! Sometimes I think that it is all because she can think like a kid. She is gentle, caring, easygoing, and ready to take on any task. She is also very creative, focused, and surprisingly genuine. There is evidence, she’s done it before and already raised a great daughter. I can’t wait to see her fall in love with our new baby! JC by Jeannette - I have not known JC all my life, but it is as if I had; sometimes I can’t believe I had another life before him! He’s got many qualities to consider, but he can be defined concisely as a little boy with a mortgage: although he’s the most responsible, grounded, rock-of-the-family kind of a guy, he can also goof-off at the speed of light! He definitely has the kind of vision and know-how that gives him a perfect perspective to guide any child’s life into a bright and fulfilled future.

Hello and thanks for reading this far. You may have learned a bit about us from previous paragraphs and even looking at some pictures. In regards to those, you may have noticed Jeannette's daughter, Camila, who lives with us and is currently attending San Jose State University. We also have some photographs with our nieces Aithana and Sabrina, who despite not living with us are quite close and important in our lives. Of course we are both very ready to take on parenting duties, but it would be important to mention that our interest is not limited to us but it involves Camila, our nieces and the rest of both our families. We both admire you for having the compassion to consider surrogacy and are very much looking forward to meeting you personally. We are pretty excited about the prospect of raising a baby and we can’t wait to hear from you.
