Explain your reasons for wanting a surrogate/donor:

We are in search of a surrogate because I had Essure rods (form of birth control) inserted into my tubes in *** after my son was born. At that time I was in my late 20s and truly thought my option for children were lessening because I had cervical cancer while pregnant with my oldest daughter and was advised not to have anymore children.I was determined to have one more.Seven years later my son was born.True miracle.I had the rods placed out of panic ..What happened to my body over the past 9 years has been difficult.I was having pain in my stomach and was sent to my obgyn who placed the rods and a year later was told the metal rod migrated and cut my fallopian tube.I went for surgery and they cut it and left the rest.3 years later the same pain.The rods had PET fibers and not knowing this another obgyn thought I had endometriosis. I had 3 surgeries to remove it but it tested negative .A few more years pasted and I realized I wanted at least one more child .We went to a fertility doctor for IVF.We did the testing and then was told the rod had migrated into my uterus.After research we found out that the fibers were causing the endometriosis symptoms.Since the rod was cut and released the fiber and my cervix was full of them .They are impossible to detect.The only way to be safe and rid them was a hysterectomy.I had seen several women have a reversal but I was not a candidate..Devastated..I thought our only option was adoption until I was told since I still have my ovaries we could do surrogacy. We are getting older and our doctor has advised is to start right away to higher our chances. I hope and pray we get matched and can have another child.I love being a mom and have regrets daily for entrusting my health on that birth control.

I am a high energy individual.I have strong work ethics and love my family. I have 2 children and my oldest turned 18 and has moved out for college! My youngest is 11 and is in 6th grade. I am a Cosmetologist and my husband of 13 years is an Electrician.We have a strong marriage and respect one another .Our love grows stronger every day.
