Explain your reasons for wanting a surrogate/donor:
We have always longed for children.We would love to be parents and be given the opportunity to love and nurture a child together from the beginning of his/her life.Surrogacy is a wonderful alternative for us.We have done quite a lot of research on surrogacy, and we realize how incredibly precious a surrogate mother is.Some children are born not wanted by anyone; we feel this child will have a great strength in the knowledge of how VERY much wanted he/she is by all concerned.What a truly beautiful way to begin life! We hope we can share this pregnancy together and remain in contact after birth.We hope to have a warm and friendly relationship together with you and your family during the pregnancy.We also hope to be involved throughout the pregnancy, attending appointments and providing any support needed.Hopefully we will be able to have several memorable times together.We want our child to know about you and how generous you are.Our child will be told of the incredible compassion and goodwill between two families that resulted in our child’s birth. This child will have a fun, loving home with two parents who love each other.We will deal with the good and the bad as it comes up.We’ll try not to spoil this child, but since we want the child so much there will probably be a little spoiling involved! We offer ...all the love we have, a secure family unit, a huge, loving and welcoming extended family, healthy and committed parents, a secure financial situation and home.
How would you best describe yourself(s):
We are Anthony and Wayne, together we are "A&W".As difficult as it is to put "us" into 2 pages, well....here it goes... We are a gay couple who met over 13 years ago through mutual friends and from the very start we immediately clicked with each other have since developed a solid loving relationship.Early on in our relationship we discussed our future which would involve having our own home, travelling together, and finally building our own family and welcoming a baby (or babies) into our family.We are now looking to fulfill our dream of creating our family.We have discussed marriage and plan on taking this step when we are blessed with our children so they too can be part of our special day. Who are we? Anthony is a Chartered Accountant and works in Finance, but he's more than just a numbers guy, he's got a very creative side and this shows in his personal style, design sense and his talent of cooking which he learned from his Nonna (yes he is Italian) when she used to take care of him as a child.Anthony is 34 years young he has dark brown hair and blue eyes.He has a wonderful sense of humour and is a loyal friend to many.He loves to try new things and has a heart of gold.He is my best friend. Anthony comes from a big Italian family, he has 2 older sisters and they each have 2 boys.Anthony loves to hang out with his nephews whether it’s playing video games or watching a movie he enjoys spending time with them.Anthony’s family all live close by not further than a 15 minute drive.Anthony’s mom is excited at the prospect of more grandchildren. Wayne is a Human Resources Professional, which is quite fitting as he is has extreme patience and offers genuine care to those close to him in his personal life.Wayne is 40 years young, medium brown hair and brown eyes.He is a little shy until he gets to know you, but when he gets to know you he can definitely talk up a storm.He too has a wonderful sense of humor and is a true friend.He is a terrible cook(although he insists on experimenting!), but a good baker and relies on Anthony’s culinary skills.He is also a great "handyman" around our home.He has a tendency to be quiet and is a very good listener, and incredibly loyal and loving. Wayne also comes from a big European family, he has 1 older brother and over 20 cousins spread across North America, Europe and Australia.Wayne has fond memories of his upbringing and holds them near and dear to his heart as his mother passed away in *** dad is very excited to become a grandfather as he has yet to have any grandchildren. We enjoy entertaining and cooking together.Anthony often finds great recipes to try and is a culinary artist.Wayne is a great baker and often assumes the role of sous-chef when Anthony is in control in the kitchen.You would typically find Anthony making his own pasta, a recipe his Nonna passed down to him.We absolutely love travelling and look forward to travelling with our family.Our favourite destination thus far has been Costa Rica.We also love going to the movies, you will usually find us in line on an opening night and typically find us at the big budget action movies.Most of all we like getting out and enjoying the outdoors, something we hope to impart on our family.In the Spring, Summer and early fall you will find us hiking or off road biking on the trails surrounding our home. We live in a small suburb north of the city of Toronto.The area has a small village “feel” and is surrounded by a lot of nature, which allows us to escape the hustle of the city.We have a four bedroom home with a large backyard in a lovely neighborhood.Anthony’s parents live close by, and we meet during the week for dinner as well as on the weekends when Anthony and his sisters and their families convene for lunch at Anthony’s parents’ house.Wayne’s father also lives close by and visits regularly.Our parents are eagerly awaiting another grandchild to spoil.
