Explain your reasons for wanting a surrogate/donor:

I was married for a long time and we suffered the pain of miscarriage. I realize this process isn't for everyone, but I am single embarking upon it because I know I was meant to be a father and that I will be a good one.

How would you best describe yourself(s):

Professional heterosexual man from Michigan looking for a gestational surrogate to help me realize my lifelong dream of having a child. I'm in fine health, financially stable, and have time, patience and so much love to give. As a partner at a mid-sized law firm, I'm at a point in my career where I can delegate often, work less and spend more quality time with family. While some of my friends are looking forward to the freedoms that come with teens beginning to drive, I'm looking forward to starting anew with parent/tot swim classes and all the joy a new child brings.

Use this space to communicate a letter to potential Surrogates/Donors:

I am looking for a caring surrogate who is willing to allow me to be a part of the pregnancy, attend doctor appointments (even if just via Skype), and be present for the birth. I also understand the sacrifices a surrogate makes and believe she should be well provided for. Michigan is not a surrogacy friendly state, but it is bordered by Illinois which is the 2nd most friendly surrogacy state in the nation.
