We were blessed with twins through IVF five years ago, but I can no longer carry a pregnancy (for health reasons).We have two remaining frozen embryos and are hoping to transfer them to a GS.
How would you best describe yourself(s):
My husband and I have been married for almost 16 years and have 5 children together.Our two youngest children are twins conceived through IVF.I am a nurse, but currently stay home with my children.My husband is a surgeon.We adore our large family and would love to see it to grow.

Hello!! I just wanted to share as much info as possible and let you digest it all.This is a super scary journey for us and I’m sure you understand that.We are looking for an angel to grow our baby for us- Nine of the most important months and we are trusting our child to another woman. Jonathan and I (Jackie) had a crazy quick romance- met, married and had our first child all within a year.That was seventeen beautiful years ago.Our oldest daughter was born in fall of *** and by winter of *** we had three amazing daughters.All three pregnancies were complicated and required long hospital stays prior to delivery.In the end, we were blessed with healthy children.Although we wanted more children, they would not come until *** after several miscarriages and fertility treatments.Our twins (a boy and a girl) were conceived through IVF.At that time, we also froze two more great quality embryos.They are not genetically tested and we do not plan to test them.At this time, we are looking to give them the chance of life! We will not be making more embryos. Jon and I both returned to school while our children were young.I am a registered nurse and worked as a school nurse with special needs kids for several years before deciding to stay home with our children.Jonathan earned his degree in Biology/Chemistry and then went on to get his doctorate in Molecular Biology.While earning this degree, he decided upon medical school and is now a surgeon in his fourth year of residency. Our children are now 16, 13, 12, 5, and 5 years old.My oldest three attend school full time and my younger two are in pre-K.They are involved in church choir, dance, gymnastics and many other after school activities.We recently bought and renovated a large home giving each child their own room and we can’t wait to add to our family. We are hoping to work with a surrogate who becomes a family friend.We don’t need to talk everyday, but I want to be Facebook friends, LOL.I want to care when your babies get the spelling award at school and I want you to want the same! It would be wonderful if you were local enough to have a few picnics and meet up at the zoo, but I understand that the perfect match may not be this close.We are satisfied being close though technology- this includes pregnancy related items and appointments.I will probably travel to see an ultrasound and for some other “important visits” but will accept not being present at most appointments.I need to know that although I will not be present, you will be open and honest with us about all medical worries and concerns.Being a medical family, we worry about every heartbeat. That’s all I can think of right now, but feel free to ask questions.I want to be an open book so there aren’t surprises later.
