I cannot physically carry my own children due to health issues. It is important to my husband that our children be biologically ours, so using a surrogate is the best option we have. As far as I know, my eggs at least are normal, so a gestational surrogate would be needed.
Big hearts and minds. My husband and I value education and equality. My current career is in marketing for professional associations and foundations. I am working on my masters, as well. My husband is currently in law school. His passion for law is in public service and justice. He wants to work for organizations that stand up and fight for everyone's rights and provide legal services for those that cannot afford it. All that seriousness aside, we love humor and laughing and are the favorite aunt and uncle of all our nieces and nephews.
My husband and I are not actively searching for surrogates just yet. As we are planning to start the process within the next 3 years, I wanted to begin looking at options and resources for the process to building our family. As we move forward on this journey, I am sure I will have a lot of questions.
