Are you our Miracle Surrogate Mama? With a sigh, and a sad look in his eyes he said “I’m so sorry but there is no heartbeat”. These are the words we have heard too many times, and now we have chosen to take a new path. Are you the Miracle Surrogate Mama that will join us on our journey? My name is Tasha, and my husband Dave and I are looking for a surrogate to help us fulfill our dream of becoming parents and having a family of our own. We have been together for 14 years and have known each other since childhood.We are an honest, loving, generous, fun couple, and challenges we have been through have made our love stronger.Since marriage, we have had six heartbreaking and difficult losses, and I have had four surgeries which provided further issues and complications for me. Over this time, we did many, many tests and I had two further diagnostic surgeries, to only be told that there is no medical reasons that can be found for the losses. We have been advised that it is best for us to choose another path to becoming parents. It has been a devastating journey, and was heartbreaking at first to know I cannot carry our baby, but we are now still so very hopeful of having a child of our own. We have given a lot of thought to doing surrogacy and at the advisement of our fertility specialist here in Victoria, BC, we have decided and are now very excited, to pursue IVF and are hopeful of getting our own beautiful embryos which will be tested and frozen in November. We are hopeful to find a woman in good health, with a beautiful heart, that has completed her own family, and wishes to nurture this gift of life for us. It is truly amazing that there are such caring, giving and wonderful people who are willing to help families such as ours. The women who are surrogates, and also their partners, families, friends, employers, and even strangers that are so supportive of them during this time. We truly believe in the good in this world, and we know in our hearts that this miracle is somewhere close to us and we would love to connect with you.
