Explain your reasons for wanting a surrogate/donor:

I am unable to carry because when I was younger I suffered from a variety of reproductive issues, including PCOS, endometriosis, and fibroids. After many years of no resolution, pain, and anemia, I ended up having a partial hysterectomy when they removed a grape-sized mass from my uterus. Needless to say, I had given up hope of ever having children, but after meeting and marrying my amazingly sweet husband, there is nothing I want more in this world. It is my prayer that we will find a surrogate that will be willing to work with us (and our budget) so that we can build a family, at last.

How would you best describe yourself(s):

We are a very easy going, laid back, and happy couple. We met in grad school, our positive approach made it easy to first become friends. We have been married for about a year and a half, but when people see us together, it is as if we have been together a lifetime. Besides being best friends, we are fortunate to have similar interests, and personalities -- We are both nerdy (bookworms).

Dear Future Gestational Surrogate, Thank you for reading our profile and for your selfless willingness to help couples like us, unable to biologically birth a child on our own, to reach the stars and fill the immense voids in our hearts. We reside in Maryland, but for the right match, we are willing to travel to another state. Ideally, we hope to find a GS who has similar perspectives on family and health issues. Like many other couples, our budget is limited, hence we are looking to find an "angel" who is not working with an agency, as we cannot afford their high price tag.
