Explain your reasons for wanting a surrogate/donor:

My story was almost a perfect one up to May *** when I suddenly felt ill and was diagnosed with renal failure.I was 29 at that time.My kind mother donated one of her kidneys to me and I have been generally fine since.About 4 years after the transplant, we started talking about children again.Because I was getting close to 34 and we feeling the clock was ticking.Unfortunately, I had 3 miscarriages in a row.I have been to fertility clinic who carried out all sorts of tests. But they couldn't find anything wrong. So they told me to try again.Unfortunately, my kidney function has gone down slightly following the miscarriages. Now my renal doctor thinks it's getting too risky for me to try again.I was heart broken until I found about surrogacy.I am the only child of my parents.I really want them to see the third generation, especially after my mother gave me the precious kidney! I want to pay back! Hopefully one of your kind ladies can help our small family to fulfil this dream...Thanks.

How would you best describe yourself(s):

My name is Qiyu Chen but people call me Vanessa at work.I am 35 years old.I am from China originally, but have been living in the UK since *** currently live with my husband and my parents. They are all very nice people.I work full time as a production planner in Mancehster.I don't drink, don't smoke.I love reading and I meditate daily. My hobby is going out for walks in the countryside, and of course I cook/enjoy lovely Chinese food! I have received lots of love from my parents and I hope to pass it down to my own children!

Use this space to communicate a letter to potential Surrogates/Donors:

Dear surrogate mother of our future baby: When I was a little girl, I always took everything for granted.Being the only child of my parents, I had a very happy childhood. When I was very ill with renal failure, my mother gave me one of her kidneys without hesitation.Even then, I never felt so desperate. However, when I started to try for our baby, I had 3 miscarriages in a row.Everytime I felt it was the end of world. But with the support and love from my family, here I am, still don't want to give up.I know, somewhere in this world, there will be a kind lady who is willing to help me to fulfil the dream of having a little child of my own.My husband is English so our baby will be a very special mixed baby. Thanks isn't enough to express my feeling to all your angles who are helping others.I look forward to meeting you one day soon! Kind Regards, Qiyu Chen
