Explain your reasons for wanting a surrogate/donor:
We’ve been together for 8 years and although I always thought I’d struggle to have children we knew we wanted to try as soon as possible which is now 7 years ago. We’ve been through 3 IVF cycles, Our first one was very traumatic as they couldn’t decided where baby was and my HCG kept climbing. I was told after a womb biopsy and a laparoscopy (which revealed endometriosis) that everything was all well but sadly my levels plunged 2 days after surgery. The HCG went back up again so after a 2 week wait I ended up having methotrexate :-( The following round we had 2 embryos put back in but apparently we just had bad luck. The third round which we just had in June was in Cyprus so everything was a lot more advanced so this was our ‘third time lucky’ moment. Unfortunetly we didn’t even get our positive test. Left very confused and decided my tummy is just not meant to carry (as I always thought) we are now just absolutely desperate to find our surrogate mother who can finally help us achieve our family goal.
How would you best describe yourself(s):
We are both very caring people who would do anything for anyone with a strong family unit around us. I think everything we have gone through together has made us into stronger and of cause the support from family and friends has been a big part of that. We live with our two spaniels who are 11 and 1, so we get plenty of exercise! Our hobbies are seeing friends and family, walking, gardening. I play the violin and enjoy drawing whilst Guy loves to cycle and loves his football!
