Three years ago I had to undergo a hysterectomy as a result of severe endometriosis.I was first diagnosed with endometriosis when I was 22.Little did I realise that the excruciating pain I first experienced 15 years ago would stay with me for the next 10 years.I had keyhole surgery every year for 10 years to try and managing the pain.In between times I was taking a concoction of medication and pain relief drugs to try and get through each day.Finally, in *** my gynaecologist said the only way to get rid of the pain was to remove my uterus.This was incredibly daunting news for me, a 32-year-old women, to contemplate.However, after speaking with my family and trying to weigh up all of the options I decided to go ahead with the surgery.Fortunately I was able to keep my left ovary.We are therefore looking for a surrogate and would use my egg and Robbie's sperm.
