She was diagnosed with endometrial cancer and had a hysterectomy.
We're a NYC couple who has been married for three years and together for five. Right now, it’s just the two of us, although we do have a couple of tomato plants out on the terrace that we care for. We like to spend time with our friends, and we’re both close to our families.
Before the operation, we created some embryos and froze them, with the thought that one day we’d put them to good use and have a baby of our own. We’re looking for a surrogate with all the usual qualifications you’d expect. Caring. Healthy. And above all, responsible and respectful of the job and of our potential child. We’re pretty easy-going people. We’re not micromanagers. But we do want to have a friendly relationship with our surrogate, checking in by phone and generally keeping in touch. After the baby is born, we’ll keep the surrogate up to date on the little one’s progress with the occasional card or email.
