Explain your reasons for wanting a surrogate/donor:

I have had a chronic kidney disease since I was 8 years old.In *** I received my first transplant from my father after one year of dialysis.My disease returned shortly thereafter in my new kidney.I begin dialysis again this month (Sept *** initially seen an obstetric nephrologist in *** tried what we could for myself to carry but its not going to be possible.We are now ready to begin our family but we need help to make this dream a reality.

How would you best describe yourself(s):

I am a registered nurse who works on an inpatient cardiology unit.My husband is a correctional officer.We are ready to start a family of our own together.We live a great life with our two dogs Zoe and Adoy, and our cat Adrax.

We are still in the very early stages of this journey.Low kidney function can affect fertility.Once I am established on dialysis and my fertility has had time to improve we can take another step forward.We look forward to that day with much excitement .
