Explain your reasons for wanting a surrogate/donor:
Cheri had breast cancer five years ago. Before beginning chemotherapy, we harvested eggs because we knew the treatment could make her infertile. We also knew that because of the risk that a pregnancy could bring the cancer back, she would not be able to carry the baby.
How would you best describe yourself(s):
Family is everything! We both come from close-knit, loving families, and we know how important that is to provide to the next generation. We love each other deeply, love our animals — a dog and 10 chickens :) — and love our lives. Brian is a writer, watercolor artist, and drummer. Cheri is a former music therapist who is now working as a private piano/guitar/voice teacher.
