Explain your reasons for wanting a surrogate/donor:

My name is Caryn I am 38 years old and my husband's name is David who is 35 years old.I have been with my job for 14 years now and love the company I work for.David has been in his industry for over 20 years and really enjoys the work that he does.We are both extremely family orientated and spend as much time as we can with them.We have the most amazing family, they have been on this journey with us and their support and love never waivers so we are very blessed and lucky to have them in our lives. My husband and I initially went down the IVF path as my partner carries Huntington's disease (a-symptomatic) and we did not want to pass this on to our children as the disease is very cruel and debilitating. We found out David diagnoses in October *** so it took us sometime to adjust to the news and also plan our future. It wasn't until 3.5 years ago we decided to try IVF therefore we could eliminate the Huntington's gene.Monash IVF Brisbane conducted all the tests and developed a probe to detect the Huntington's in the embryos which was fantastic and a great ease to our minds as the accuracy of the test are around 95%.We then started on the IVF journey, which has certainly been very emotional, and heart breaking at times.Along this journey we found out I have fertility issues (poor egg quality, not producing eggs, no lining, etc.) so over the last 3 years it has taken us sometime to get a number of embryos we could transfer.I have had 6 transfers with only 1 resulting in pregnancy but then miscarrying at 7 weeks, this was heart breaking for us thou we were very determined to continue as we really want the most precious gift in life a baby. After no success over the years and my Dr diagnosing that I am unable to carry a baby, we still have very high hopes to be parents, as we still have 3 little embryo's that are waiting for a great home for the next 9 months. We really would love to talk to gestational surrogate to make our dreams and our lives complete.

How would you best describe yourself(s):

David and I are outgoing people who are very family orientated and ensure our families always come first. We love family days, baby sitting our niece and nephews, travel, fishing and catching up with friends.
