Explain your reasons for wanting a surrogate/donor:
In *** I was diagnosed with cervical cancer and in order to ensure my future health I had to have a hysterectomy. At the time I was going to the doctor to come off contraception as my partner and I had finally gotten to a place in our lives where we were ready to have a child however you can imagine my devastation when it was confirmed that I would have to have a hysterectomy. The hurt of this loss was compounded by the fact that my partner is adopted and so desired to have a child of his own. We know that we are lucky to have an amazing 13 year old girl already but we are a young couple and would love to have an opportunity to see what we could make together.
How would you best describe yourself(s):
My partner and I have been together for 12 years, I have a daughter from a previous relationship to whom my partner has been the most amazing father. We enjoy each others company and like to spend time cycling, camping and other outdoor pursuits. I have an Hons Degree in Early Childhood Care and Education and I currently work with adults with disabilities while my partner is employed by a large courier company.
