Elana had IVF in *** and was able to produce 12 embryos at the time! She had a successful transfer after that and after a tumultuous pregnancy we had our miracle baby girl! Although our daughter is the best thing to happen to us, since then we haven’t felt like our family is complete.We tried a frozen embryo transfer in *** that ended in miscarriage.Since then Elana’s doctors say it’s not possible for her to carry another baby to term due to her medical diagnosis, a connective tissue disease called Marfan Syndrome.Elana’s disease makes her body weaker and more easily damaged than normal.The miracle pregnancy with our daughter damaged Elana’s body making it even weaker, so this is why future pregnancies are not possible.
