Explain your reasons for wanting a surrogate/donor:

We are a Gay couple, and we’ve been trying to adopt a child, but this kind of proceeding is too long and complicated. We’ve been trying to be parents for very long, and we think that surrogacy is the best option.

How would you best describe yourself(s):

I’m an Attorney-at-Law. I’m 41 years old, and I have my own Law Firm, Capllonch Advocats, specialized in commercial law. I also work as a Teacher at the Balearic Islands University (UIB). I studied laws in Barcelona, but my professional career is been developed in Mallorca. As a second activity, I’m a shareholder of an Ice Cream Factory, called Fredibo. We produce and sell artisan ice creams. I'm a very responsible, and also a very loving person. I like to face challenges, and I'm very entrepreneurial. I love children, and I've always been surrounded by them. My husband Toni: I’m a Marketing specialist. I studied a Marketing Degree at the La Rioja International University (UNIR), and now I’m starting my career as an apprentice at a very well positioned Marketing Agency. I’m a Sociable person. I love meeting new friends and learning about their lives, backgrounds and culture. I can easily find common ground with them, and I like to support and help people by making them feel comfortable with me. I am a very familiar, happy and compassionate person. I enjoy sharing things and talking to friends and family about a variety of things. I am a fun lover, but I’m also serious when it is necessary. I have a logical mind but I understand and feel emotions as well.

Use this space to communicate a letter to potential Surrogates/Donors:

Dear Surrogate, We don’t know you yet, but we already feel that you’re going to be one of the most important persons in our lives. Since we met each other, we knew that we were going to be parents, and now, when the moment comes, we are really excited and happy, because our family will soon be complete. We would like to tell you that we think that you are a great person. Doing such an extraordinary act of generosity is proof enough from your huge heart. We can’t find the words to express how grateful we feel. The only thing we can say is that we promise that the child will be really loved, well taken care of, well educated and well surrounded by a big and loving family. Our parents, sisters, nieces, uncles... All of our family is waiting for the BIG MOMENT. We’ll be at your side during the whole journey, helping you in all you may need. We are aware that this decision can be as difficult as exciting for you, and because of that we need to tell you that we can understand your feelings. If you decide to help us, please feel free to share with us your thoughts and your worries about the journey and the baby. We’ll be on this trip together, so we have to be a team. At last, we only want to say THANK YOU VERY MUCH.
