We started our path to parenthood ~5years ago, and have gone through a few rounds of IVF (both Own Egg & Donor Egg), in the USA, and Latvia. I have a blood clotting disorder (mild), but now also possible immune issues, making a full-term birth difficult.
We are a couple in our 40's. We met later in life, in part as our careers and lives took us in different directions before we "collided". We have been together for +7yrs, and married for 3. I am a Research Scientist, and have a faculty appointment at a local University, my husband is a meteorologist. We love spending time in our garden, have an interest in music, and sing in a local choir, and love photography and travel.
Dear Gestational Carrier, We are looking for someone who Latvian, or open to travelling to Latvia if needed. We have been trying to build our family for almost 5 years, and have yet to reach that goal. As you can imagine it is a difficult decision to move to GC, after you have tried yourself for a pregnancy. But life is funny that way, and everything is a transference of energy. After we moved on to donor eggs, that was the first time I have to accept "the most precious gift" from another woman. Can I accept another? Yes! We have an embryo waiting both in Latvia... Please reach out, if this sounds like it could be a match for you, I am new to this, and will have many questions. Many blessings, Mara
