Explain your reasons for wanting a surrogate/donor:

We require a surrogate due to recurrent miscarriages and years of infertility. We have had a failed round of IVF - however, we are fortunate that that round did lead to the creation of healthy embryos that will allow us to build our family through surrogacy. Sara had a medical condition that required multiple abdominal and pelvic surgeries leading to excessive scar tissue, which may be one of the factors contributing to our fertility struggles. Sara also has a genetic clotting disorder that increases the risk of miscarriage in pregnancy (Factor V Leiden carrier). I suffered severe complications following my most recent miscarriage, which led to the medical recommendation to seek out surrogacy as the safest next step in our journey.

How would you best describe yourself(s):

We are a very warm, loving, happy go lucky couple with a large family and community of support. Aaron is a friend to anyone and everyone, and can make just about anyone laugh and smile! He is a hard-working scientist, handyman and mediocre but dedicated fisherman! Sara is a carer by nature - as a paediatrician, she dedicates her time to supporting children and families and can make anyone feel comfortable and cared for through their toughest moments. She has personally battled serious medical illness and come out on the other side, and values the simple things in life including family, friends, nature, and dill pickles!

To our potential surrogate, Thank you so very much for considering us as intended parents. We are in awe of your desire to answer the prayers of strangers by helping to build their family. My husband and I have been struggling with infertility and recurrent pregnancy loss for years. Recently, through a round of IVF, we were blessed with 7 healthy PGT-A tested embryos that are ready to go! As a paediatrician and scientist, we are financially stable, ready and excited to make this investment! Having a big family with lots of littles means the world to us and we have so much love to share :). We have had time to build our careers, and now are excited to switch gears and focus on building our family. We would love to get to know you and see if we would be a good match for this precious journey together. Hugs, S+A
