Gay couple together for 10 years and live in Sydney. We enjoy traveling and spending time with family and friends. Being Italian and Māori, we both come from large families and can’t think of anything more significant than having children of our own who we can love and adore. We feel we are in a place where we can hopefully make this happen.
Our journey about surrogacy started years ago when one of our best friends offered to be our surrogate however after completing a recent check up, she was diagnosed with Endometriosis resulting in her not being able to assist. Whilst this has been an emotional roller coaster for all of us, knowing that we have a potentially long and complex journey ahead, we would love to connect with anyone who is happy to share their stories/recommendation of experiences and how we could start this process sooner rather than later. At this stage, we would like to explore options of surrogacy in Australia and New Zealand.
