Explain your reasons for wanting a surrogate/donor:

We wanted our children to have all the individual time they needed to be babies and have our undivided attention. We space them out for this reason. After our second baby I started having severe headaches, I tried everything possible for the last 4 years. I traveled the country seeing every specialist possible. My official diagnosis is intractable migraine. They are more controlled now but I still have to take a lot of medication everyday. It would not be safe for me to carry another baby. I personally never thought I would be here. I thought I would get better and be able to do this myself. We never thought by 40 we would still be trying to complete our family. I should have started this process earlier but here we are.

How would you best describe yourself(s):

Hi we are Megan and Dan. We have been together for 15 years. We have been married for 9 years. We got married later in life at 32. We live in the suburbs outside of Philadelphia PA. It took us awhile both times to get pregnant. We always wanted a big family. We both come from big families. We love our children and everything we do is for them. We are easy going, kind and generous people. We live in a neighborhood full of kids. We are very active, in our children's lives as they are the light and joy of our lives. We volunteer in their schools, and coach their sports teams. We spent time engaging them in sports, boy scouts, volunteering, social events like birthday parties and church. We are so proud of our kids and the people people they are becoming.

Use this space to communicate a letter to potential Surrogates/Donors:

First we would like to thank you for being so generous and kind. Second the system made us pick an age range. We welcome all age ranges between 21 to 45. There aren’t enough words or expressions of gratitude for you. Thank you for reading this letter and to potentially begin this journey with us. 8 years ago, we could have never imagined that we would be writing to you, but here we are, and we will always remember this part of our story together. While we don’t know you yet, we already know that you are a special selfless individual who will help us complete our family through your generosity and grace. This year I have gone through multiple rounds IVF cycles to create embryos. They have been genetically tested. We hope to get started as soon as possible. We hope we can share this pregnancy together and remain in contact after birth. We also want what's best for you. We will respect whatever kind of relationship you would like. You will forever be imprinted on our child and our lives, and our child will be told of the incredible compassion and goodwill between the 3 of us that resulted in our child’s birth. We are willing to work with anyone who is in a green surrogate state. We are willing to travel to you. You will need to come here for the initial embryo transfer. We will do everything in our power to make it easy for you. We would prefer you to either be single with a job and insurance. Or we would like you to be married with insurance. We would like you to be able to provide OBGYN medical records and any specialist records. We need you to be healthy with no serious underlying medical conditions. That is what is required by our very experienced and successful reproductive team. We would like you to be already cleared by your OBGYN. We can work out all of the payment information later with a contract drawn up by our lawyer. We will be paying for the transfer, and things that your insurance doesn't cover. We will also be paying you for your service and the job you will be doing of growing a baby. There are a lot of things we will obviously need to discuss and agree upon. This relationship will require clear communication and trust. . Please consider carrying a baby for us. We will be forever grateful to you! We would like you to be close to the East coast but if you aren't that is okay too. I am willing to get on a plane or drive to you. Will you consider carrying our baby and help this dream come true? Must Be a US Citizen with a valid ID or Driver’s License 3. Green Sate only 4. Have given birth to at least one child 5. No complications during pregnancy/ies 6. No more than 3 c-sections 7. Stable lifestyle – I would like to know how long you have lived at your current address 8. No smoking; alcohol abuse; recreational drug use 9. We prefer a married couple with insurance or single mother with insurance in place already for pre-surrogate blood work and other testing that our clinic requires. This is a MUST HAVE. 10. Payment will depend on if your insurance covers Surrogate Pregnancy. 11. You will need to travel here for the transfer but everything else can be handle where you live. (we will pay for travel) 12. Cautious of skin products (retinol) and hair products, (keratin hair-straightening treatments) (Sulfites) (MINOXIDIL) 13. Cautious of Medications that could harm a growing baby. 14. On Prenatal Vitamins already 15. Cleared by your OB to carry, the more medical records you can provide the faster we can move. 16. No recent criminal history (background checks conducted and if history, decided on case-by-case basis) 17. No planed travel outside of the US during pregnancy 18.
