I am a 44-year-old native to Surfside Beach, SC I am an MRI Technologist currently working at Conway Hospital. I am married to a wonderful man named Drew. We have been together for 23 years now and have been trying to have a child for roughly 18 years. I have PCOS, hypothyroidism and was overweight weighing 280 pounds until I had bypass in 2021. I have now lost all my weight and I was hoping that we would conceive with the improved body however we have not been so lucky as of yet. Before my weight loss surgery in 2021 I was able to conceive 3 times however I miscarried them all by week 8. My husband and I also own a local comic bookstore which my husband runs daily. He is very intelligent with many degrees including an MBA. We have always wished for children and at the very least would like one child. I am and will continue to pray and hope for this to happen naturally but to be realistic we are interested in a surrogate since I will be 45 years old this July and frankly the clock is ticking!
