I practice in the area of reproductive law. I provide legal advice to donors, intended parents, surrogates and fertility clinics. I draft surrogacy and donor agreements. I ensure the correct people are recognized as the legal parents of the child(ren) by performing declarations of parentage and second parent adoptions in Ontario. I assist parties from outside of Ontario provided the birth is to occur within Ontario. My reproductive law practice evolved from my background as a health lawyer. I therefore provide legal services relating to the health care law aspect of third party reproduction, such as reviewing birth plans, and providing advice on matters relating to privacy and informed consent.
